FOODPICKER: Nutrition Editor Instructions
Blogging Instructions:
1. You can create a free nutrition-based professional blog at:
http://WordPress.com or http://Blogger.com
Begin by adding your first post with a link back to http://FOODPICKER.org
An example of your first blog post:
"I am a Nutrition Editor at http://FOODPICKER.org - a website designed
to help people with diabetes." (please make sure the hyperlink works)
Here's a real world example created by one of our Nutrition Editors:
http://elissanutrition.wordpress.com/
We will be e-mailing out a weekly newsletter for nutrition editors
with topics that can be covered in their blogs (including nutrition
related questions from people with diabetes submitted to
FOODPICKER.org).
If you are not familiar with blogs, they are very simple to set up at
http://WordPress.com (takes about 5 minutes and it is free).
It is my hope that nutrition editors will continue to post to their
blogs on a routine basis to help with distribution of credible
nutrition information. In addition, you can share your blog postings with
potential future employers. Social media is a very hot industry topic
currently.
2. After you have created your blog e-mail nutrition@foodpicker.org with a link to your blog.
3. Feel free to answer questions from FOODPICKER.org and post any other credible nutrition related information. Also,
let me know if you have a topic idea for future newsletters.
Thank you for helping us build the world's largest and most credible nutrition & diabetes website!
